This page displays an up-to-date listing of changes to our customer support web. Here is an explanation of the version changes for 1.05 and higher.

Version 1.x

  • Version 1.06
  • This fixes the reports to correct when clock out punches were not being printed for the first day of the week.
Version 1.07
  • This fixes problems with swing-shift employees.
  • The problems were related to overtime calculation and report printing.
Version 1.08
  • This fixes the problem when the scanner display window does not reopen after a backup is performed.
Version 1.09
  • This fixes the problem with the calculation for daily overtime.

  • Fixed voice print change for employees window when turning on voice verification.
  • Changed demo start date to zero when installing from CD image.

  • Calculation error that was addressed with 2.02a.

Version 2.03
  • Changed printer icon on schedule window to have the laser printer icon.
  • Added icons to schedule for work hours, other hours, paid break, and unpaid break buttons.

  • Added copy button to bottom of window to copy a schedule.
  • Corrected button sizes on schedule window.
  • Added help id WINCOPYSCHEDULE to the program.
  • Changed the schedule program so it will not execute unless the TimeWolf Manager Module is running.
  • Changed report selection windows to not have a title in the employee drop down.

  • Added the ability to print the employee's report from the punch window.

  • Fixed employee list to display phone numbers correctly.
  • The punch window of the employee module had the ability for the user to press Ok before the punch type was filled. This resulted in the punch type being blank. This has been corrected.
  • Change To Break not working is fixed.
  • Optimized program loading speed.
  • Added Copy Policy to company information update policy tab and the policy browse.
  • Changed all report windows to follow design standards.
  • Added an end time to the Quick Punch window and added the ability for the system to calculate the end time and duration based on the end time or duration.
  • Fixed policy tab on Company Information Update so default policies were colored and cannot be deleted.
  • Changed the schedule tab of the Policy Update window. Now the user is required to have the Punch To Schedule box checked to enter a grace period.
  • Changed the System Monitor to only check the schedule when the Punch To Schedule box is checked on the Policy Update window.
  • Changed the Employee Module Punch window to only check the schedule when the Punch To Schedule box is checked on the Policy Update window.
Version 2.03b
  • Fixed problem where backup was not creating the backup file name correctly.
  • Fixed where restore was complaining about auto increment errors and it was duplicating records.
  • Fixed restore window so date and time are displayed properly.
  • Fixed employee accrual error about number needs to be between 0 and 99 when editing employees or printing timecards.
  • Fixed problem with monthly accrual amounts. It could miscalculate the accruals.
Version 2.04
  • Changed auto breaks so that they will not be placed on anything other than the top of the hour.
  • Added SelectCEMDailySummary help id.
  • Added employee daily summary report.
  • When importing employees the user would get an error File Not Open….. This was fixed.
  • Added the ability to have a base accrual in sick time and vacation time accruals.

  • Fixed ADP interface file export. The format was incorrect.
  • Fixed problem where time is not correctly calculated for swing shift punches that occur on the start of the week.
  • Changed Accrual calculation so when the user puts in stop at zero (0) then time accrues endlessly.
  • Fixed problem where on rare occasions the first day of the following week is being considered for overtime.
  • Changed other activity window to not have the hours as required entry.
  • Fixed problem where activity cannot be edited or inserted from the Activity tab on the employee update window.
  • Fixed problem where employee policy was not being saved.
  • Fixed schedule where the 201st time block would not schedule.
  • Fixed delay when employee is scheduled in a schedule with many time blocks.
Version 2.05

Version 2.08
  • Fixed problem with other activity appearing past the last day of the timecard report.

  • Fixed problem where accrual amounts over 2 digits in length displayed as #’s.

  • Fixed problem where user name and punch status’ were not being displayed consistently on the TWQuest clock.

  • Fixed accruals where the date of hire plus days moved the hire date into the next year and the system used the year of the start date.

  • Fixed AutoNet network update so it will handle long file names.

  • Added the ability for the system to use TCP/IP for communicating with the computer that has the TimeClock Lock.  This is to eliminate the problem where the other computers cannot see the TimeClock Lock computer.

  • Added the ability for the system to shut down all of the system monitors on the network workstations when the program is being updated/installed.

  • Fixed schedule report so time blocks will print to the end of the day.

  • Fixed inconsistency when using punch to schedule and multiple policies.

  • Made System Monitor less of a resource hog.

  • Fixed problem where an employee that punches twice in a day and the second punch exceeds the daily overtime then the punch calculation is incorrect.

  • Fixed inconsistency of the auto update on the In/Out board.

  • Added ability to round clock in , clock in paid break, clock in unpaid break, clock out, clock out paid break and clock out unpaid break punches to the scheduled clock in, clock in paid break, clock in unpaid break, clock out, clock out paid break and clock out unpaid break time if it is within the on time grace period.

  • Modified user count to not count inactive employees.

  • Modified auto-breaks so both can be of the same break type (paid or unpaid).

  • Added SystemMonitor section to the TW.INI file.  If the DoNotAutoLoad item is set to TRUE then the System Monitor will not automatically load when the program starts up.

  • Made all windows re-sizeable to allow for different window resolutions.

  • Added check boxes on the Company Information Update Form to allow System Monitor to not be loaded on program startup and to unload system monitor on program exit.

  • Changed all date and time formats to display according to the windows control panel settings.

  • Added overtime option in policies that deducts daily overtime from the weekly overtime.

  • Changed Social Security number prompt to SS/SI/NI prompt for support in foreign countries.

  • Changed phone number picture to allow it to display any format of characters.  This provides support for foreign countries.

  • Changed the default installation folder for the data files to be C:\LoneWolf\TimeWolf\Data\.

  • Modified auto break processing to not add a break type of paid/unpaid if a paid/unpaid break is manually inserted on the day processed.

  • Modified auto break processing to ignore change to breaks.

  • Fixed bug in auto break where auto breaks are added on the incorrect day.

  • Added feature to scale schedule report.  Now has the ability to print a schedule for 24 hours.

  • Fixed bug where disabled employees are showing up in the In/Out Board.

  • Added FPS Gold Accounting Interface

  • Added CheckMark Software Accounting Interface.

  • Added Open Systems Accounting Interface.

  • Fixed excessive hours report where hours were not being calculated properly if there were two punch outs in the same day.  

Changes For Version 2.12

  • Added support for Scout Hand Geometry Reader.

  • Added field for activity number in Other Activity table to support other activity entry on Scout reader.

  • Added message to NoVoice command line option to indicate option was used.

  • Added a NoHand command line option to remove all hand templates from the system and set the Scout readers to be polled.

  • Fixed problem where time on Quest Clock is not updated properly when there are over 200 employees allowed to clock in on the Quest Clock and there are two Quest Clocks connected to the same computer.

  • Changed ADP export to be totaled for a period instead of punch activity.

  • Fixed Auto Break problem where it miscalculates the Auto Break time when clock in is on one day and clock out is on the next day.

  • Added MYOB – United Kingdom accounting interface.

  • Added Sage Line 50 – United Kingdom accounting interface.

  • Added Sage Line 100 – United Kingdom accounting interface.

  • Modified ADP accounting interface to support Other Activity Types.

  • Changed System Monitor to remove problem w/ Windows 2000.

  • Changed System Monitor to respond to right and double click events when in the system tray.

  • Changed Other Department schedule blocks to be gray instead of black.

  • Fixed problem where dropping a time block on top of a block scheduled in another department would corrupt schedule database.

  • Added ability to override pay types in QuickBooks Pro accounting interface.

  • Fixed problem with Daily Summary reports to correct extra line when other activity is entered on a day that also has punches.

  • Fixed problem with some punches that are transmitted to Scout clock and are missing the correct time.

  • Changed Paychex Paylink export to add more functionality for other activity types and overtime two.

  • Fixed problem in payroll interfaces that use ACTIVITY/PERIOD gathering of data.  The export was combining overtime one and overtime two data in some cases.  This will affect Paychex and ProTyme interfaces.

  • Added department and policy filter for accounting exports.

  • Changed accounting export processing to not export inactive employees.

  • Fixed problem where accrued time was not being carried over properly when set to carry over.

  • Added ability to open a door with a valid card or ID and do not do an employee punch.  This is done via the EMP button on the Quest clock and selecting option 2.

  • Fixed problem when a Quest with a modem connection can hang the computer when a test is done and Quest clock is never connected to.

  • Changed timeout value for modem connections to Quest Clocks so if clock will not answer the system will recover quicker.

  • Changed System Monitor to delay polling modem Quest Clocks for one minute on System Monitor startup.  This allows the user to enter setup before the Quest Clocks are called.
